Peppa Pig Bento Lunch

The kid loves Peppa Pig so I had to be creative and bring her wish to life!! I hope she likes it!!! 

Notebook Bento

The kid requested a notebook sandwich. Using fruit roll-ups to decorate the top and inside the bread is cheese and turkey lunch meat. Animal crackers, yogurt and a brownie!!!! 

Traffic Bento

Apple shaped sandwich with a gummy worm, green apple slice with grapes shaped as a car, strawberry applesauce and a brownie with M&Ms with honey wheat crackers 

Back to School Bento Lunch

The kid starts school tomorrow so it's only right that I make treats for her classmates and create her another back to school bento!!!!!! 

Up coming School Year

With school starting just in a few weeks I have been getting some cool bento ideas together for the kid. This summer allowed me to take a break...order some new bento gadgets and collect more ideas. So that is why my blog wasn't updated as much.......

Here in Maryland we are expecting another snow storm so I figured for breakfast this morning I would create a spring themed breakfast wishing the weather would warm up soon!

Bento of the Week

Between the snow storms and half days at school the kid hasn't taken lunch in a few days. So I figured I would whip up something quick and cute!! 

Valentine's for the Class

Here in Baltimore we are in the middle of a snow storm so school has been closed and driving has been a mess. So I'm kinda blown that I have to wait to send these to Ziggy's school. I just love being crafty!! #NoCandy 

Love Mail Bento

 This is the day leading up to Valentine's Day so I thought it would pretty cool to be a bit more creative with her lunches. Using just a small kitchen knife I cut out an envelop shaped sandwich and added some peanut butter & jelly.Then I thought if I added some strawberries & grapes to her lunch she would enjoy those. Next were some teddy grahams and yogurt topped off with a strawberry!! Can't forget her heart shaped brownie!!!

Elmo Bento

This morning when I went to check on Ziggy I noticed she was sleeping with one of her Elmo dolls. So I figured I would create a quick Elmo bento for today. Using one of my puzzle sandwich cutters to make her peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I then added yogurt, grapes, fruit snacks and goldfish crackers! And of course some Elmo food picks!! 

XOXO Bento

It's the end of January and next month will be the month of lots of love!! So why not start a little early with the bento lunches. Using cookie cutters and some peanut butter & jelly I created her XO and heart sandwich. Next I sliced a apple in half using a mini heart to add another heart on top of the apple. Adding teddy grahams, apple sauce with pink sprinkles and Dora fruit snacks her lunch was now complete!! 

Rock Star Lunch

Today at Ziggy's school all of the kids had to dress like a rock star and bring in a cd to dance to. So why not create a lunch to reflect her theme!!!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday I decided to dedicate a breakfast for him this morning and what he stood for. #WorldPeace #Love #BentoMom #CreativeFood My daughter also wanted to show off the art work she created for him on school last week!!!

Since tomorrow is wear a red shirt to school day I figured why not create a lunch to go along with the theme of the day. I'm sure my baby girl will love this!! Bento mom's rock!!

Spring in Winter

Since the temperature is frigid in Baltimore my kid requested another spring lunch. She dislikes the cold just as much as I do. Flower peanut butter & jelly with sprinkles, fruit on a stick, cheez its and a oatmeal cream pie!! Quick and Easy!! 

Mini Heart Lunch

First lunch of the week so I wanted something quick yet cute so I used my small heart cutter to do the trick. Three small turkey & cheese sandwiches shaped into a mini heart, yogurt with a few sprinkles, animal crackers, a Rice Krispie treat shaped into a heart and grapes using my cute girly food picks!! 

Cookie Monster Pancakes

I just love snow days especially when Ziggy school is closed. This morning she asked for blue star pancakes but I decided to try something different and it was a hit. The kid loved it. All you need is blue food coloring, marshmallows, chocolate chips, one cookie and you too can make this happen!

Decided to do a heart shaped bento for the kid in the morning. She loves peanut butter so this sandwich will be a hit with her. Also using my small heart cutter I shaped her Rice Krispie treat into a heart adding more fun to her lunch!! Bento Moms Rock!!! 

New Year Lunch

First lunch of the new year. Gotta start off on the good foot. Using my number cookie cutters and peanut butter I was able to create her 2014 sandwich ♥
